Repairing a Windshield Crack

If you are feeling ambitious and would like to try to repair a small crack in your windshield, there are few different steps that you can try. While it is always better to have a professional windshield repair company take a look at the damage and assess what needs to be done, sometimes convenience dictates that you take matters into your own hands.

To begin, make sure that you have a cloth rag, some glass cleaner, a quick fix kit, and a razor blade. Clean your windshield thoroughly, and begin to mix the solution. Place the included suction cup on the crack. Use the suction to remove any air that is in the crack, and push the solution into the hole.

Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes, and check to see if it is dry. If it is the suction cup can be removed, the razor can be used to cut any excess solution from the surface. Allow the area to dry completely, and clean it when it is done.

This should take care of the problem, at least for the time being. If this does not do the trick, seek the help of your windshield repair professionals for the results you need. Your windshield will be ready to go in no time!
