How to Be Kind to Your Windshield This Holiday Season:

With temperatures hanging way below freezing this holiday season, make sure you're treating your windshield right. There are a few things to keep in mind.

• Make sure your windshield wiper fluid is made for cold weather. Otherwise it can freeze to your windshield and make your efforts counterproductive.
• Make sure your wipers are thawed before using them.
• Don't defrost your windshield on the highest temperature. This can make the glass weaken or crack.
• When scraping ice or snow off of your windshield, be gentle. Tough as it is, it IS made of glass!

The better you treat your windshield during the winter weather, the better it can protect you from the hazards of driving in freezing temperatures on icy roads!
